SERTEC 2011- SymbiosisDuo in Concert
It’s always a pleasure collaborating with musicians, especially those as talented as the SymbiosisDuo.
The SymbiosisDuo is a tuba-euphonium duo consisting of Gail Robertson (euphonium) and Stacy Baker (tuba). They premiered their album of the same name in the Fall of 2009. It was my first collaboration with the tuba-euphonium duo with repertoire arranged for both instruments.
We will be performing in concert at the 2011 Southeast Regional Tuba-Euphonium Conference (SERTEC) hosted by the University of Tennessee (Chattanooga) on March 10-12, 2011.
The concert program has yet to be finalized. Gail Robertson is in the process of arranging some new tuba-euphonium pieces including piano.
